  1. We will come to miss the insects when flowers fail to bloom and birds that eat them no longer sing to us. Insects are the true canaries in the coal mine since their cells are in direct contact with the air and the toxins that mingle with it. Scientists estimate that sixty percent of insect life in Western Europe has disappeared. A game preserve can – to some degree – protect an Elephant or a Tiger from human poaching, but there is no way to protect living things from the air.
    There are as many molecules of air in a lungful as there are lungfuls of air in Earth’s entire atmosphere. Ceasar’s last breath is well distributed by now so your next breath will contain one molecule of Ceasar’s last. Earthlings breathe each other. Please exhale as if your next breath depended on it.
